Operations Analyst

Job Description

Dwight Funding LLC is a leading non-bank commercial finance company that partners with entrepreneurs and small businesses to provide asset-based lines of credit and working capital solutions. Dwight has been operating since January 2015 originating a strong, growing and diversified portfolio across the U.S. The team is made up of recovering bankers with an entrepreneurial spirit on a mission to add value to every relationship whether that is through funding, industry expertise or connections to industry leaders.

Dwight Funding is looking for a diligent and motivated individual to join its Portfolio Management team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to dig into the books of various high growth companies, monitor and develop credit procedures and contribute to a vibrant startup ecosystem.  The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with a growth mindset looking to improve upon current processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily client funding and client relations

  • Credit underwriting analysis / support

  • Develop operational processes to improve efficiency and scale policies and procedures as the portfolio continues to grow

  • Evaluate client requests for amendments to terms and develop a recommended structure based on the client’s risk profile

  • Propose and manage value-add projects to improve the portfolio management process

  • Organize client data and translate into actionable insights

Qualification and Skill Requirements

  • 4-8 years of processional experience

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Tested knowledge of Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow analysis

  • The ability to flag potential process issues or ways to do things better and the initiative to come up with solutions

  • Comfortable speaking with clients and partners

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Great organizational skills

  • Accounting and/or underwriting experience is preferred but not required

  • Working knowledge of Excel VBA is preferred but not required
